Are your cocoa bombs peanut or tree nut free?

Unfortunately, no, due to the ingredients I use. All of the cocoa bombs are made using the same Mercken’s brand chocolate and Ghirardelli cocoa mixes. In addition, I use Kellogg’s Mini Marshmallows or Dandies Vegan Mini Marshmallows, candy corn, candy canes, Andes mint chocolate bars, Kraft chewy caramel bits, and Sixlets chocolate-coated candy.

My disclaimer for each and every cocoa bomb reads: This product contains soy and milk and some of its ingredients were made in a facility alongside peanuts and tree nuts. I cannot guarantee that all of the products are safe to consume for people with peanut, tree nut, soy, milk, egg or wheat allergies.

What precautions do you take when making the cocoa bombs?

  • The kitchen, in which they are made, is sanitary and immaculate.
  • I have a background with food and catering and I am well-versed in food safety and sanitation.
  • In response to Covid-19, I wear a mask and gloves while making the cocoa bombs.
  • The packaging part of the process occurs on The Front Porch, which is enclosed, but still receives fresh air circulating through an open screen door. 

Do you ship?

Not at this time but maybe I’ll figure that soon! Pickup and local deliveries only. Local = within 10-miles of 60137. The delivery fee is $3.

For long do the cocoa bombs keep? How should I store them?

If you keep them refrigerated, they’ll keep for several months. However, none of the ingredients NEED to be refrigerated, this is why they keep for an extended period of time. Please be sure to keep away from the sun/heat/moisture to keep the chocolate from blooming. The chocolate may still be consumed once it has bloomed – it just won’t look as pretty.

Can I bulk-order bombs without one of your cute labels so I can slap my own company’s logo on there?
